Why am I running?
I am running for State Senate because it is time for the voices of the people to be heard. I am here to represent the people in the state of Michigan. I am here to represent everyone, no matter the party affiliation. I am very open to hearing what the people of Michigan have to say. I am here to listen to the people, fight for the people, and make changes for the people. I am a middleclass politician who fights for all. I am here to lower tax rate of the Michigan residents and help our children in our schools. Our small businesses need help as well and I am here to help. I am here to hold our governor accountable to the promises that they make. I stand firm with the 2nd Amendment. There is no need for any gun bans. Together only can we give the power back to the people where it belongs.
I am a graduate of East Kentwood High School, and I attend Liberty University Online. My major is in business while my minor is in political science. I am proud to announce I am a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. I grew up in Grand Rapids and I grew up with hardworking values and do the best that I can do for all people. Top Priorities
Education
I believe we need to lower the prices of college education. I believe that we need to encourage the trade school opportunities just like how we are with college. I stand with the common core program that is already put into place, but I believe that as kids in high school get older, they should be taught different life skills. I believe that the students need a home economics class. I will fight to keep the Critical Race Theory out of our schools. We need to pay attention to what is being taught to our students and I am here to make sure they are learning the correct things in the classroom.
Budget
I believe that in the state of Michigan, we need to do budget reform because some of the money used in the budget is not being used properly for the people in the state of Michigan. There is a lot of overspending happening and with that it is very difficult to lower any taxes in the state of Michigan
Taxes
It is now time that we have a tax reform in the state of Michigan. Many low-income families are hurting. Many small businesses are hurting as well because of the high tax rate. We have an income tax rate of 4.25% and we need to lower that. When families are living from paycheck to paycheck, then it is time to take action for the people!
Stances
I am Pro-Life. I do not stand with abortion, I believe the unborn deserve a chance at life because God created them in his image just as he did with us. I believe we need to lower the cost of adoption in the state of Michigan. The price for adoption is too high and it is taking away the chances of people from being able to have a family.Â
I am a Pro- 2nd Amendment. I believe that gun bans are the wrong way to go, we have the right to bear arms just as our founding fathers did. Our freedom was won with guns and if we take them away, we are taking away our freedoms. I don't believe in making our gun control stronger either. Let us take a stand for our freedoms.
I believe we need to improve the election integrity in the state of Michigan. We need to require Voter I.D. and license at the polls. I will fight to protect the unborn, our 2nd amendment, and the election integrity in Michigan.
